Workflow automation software platforms can drive positive transformational change within any organization, but especially the Legal department.

The technology is easy to implement and, as demonstrated in numerous deployments, getting a fast eturn on investment (as high as 5X) is readily achievable. How? Among other things, by driving cross-functional collaboration that leads to greater efficiency and partnership throughout all parts of the organization.

Legal Workflow Automation Software

In our recent webinar, Process Automation Made Perfect, four of the leading legal industry experts on (and admitted advocates for) workflow automation software shared their insights on how best to incorporate this technology into a modern legal organization.

First off, our own Steven O’Donnell, Head of Product Marketing, Legal Operations at Mitratech, delivered a live demo on how to create a workflow solution by using TAP Workflow-Automatisierung.

“TAP is a SaaS solution that lets you quickly and easily automate any mundane business process, while rewarding you with exceptional ROI,” Steven explained. “The benefit is that legal team members can focus on what’s important: doing the work, not wrestling with workflows.”

The experts’ thoughts on legal workflow automation software?

As Justin Hectus, CIO/CISO at Keesal, Young & Logan characterized the situation, “Workflow automation today is fundamental to running legal like a business.”

The webinar proved an ideal opportunity for Justin and the others to share with attendees their direct experiences in adopting workflow automation, then designing and implementing legal workflows. Most importantly, they were able to explain firsthand the benefits workflow automation has driven for their organizations.

Emily Teuben, Senior Legal Operations Manager at cloud data services provider NetApp and an expert TAP user, remarked that implementing workflow automation within her organization paid dividends immediately, and across a wide range of applications. “Once you touch the technology you can’t stop finding use-cases,” she said. “We’re now deployed in seven departments and that has been growing rapidly over the past year or so.”

To add even more dimension, Connie Brenton, Senior Director of Legal Operations at NetApp and Chairman of the Board of the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC), observed how workflow automation is a “technology solution that solves complex problems between multidisciplinary teams in an easy way. It’s one of the few that can be used across the entire legal ecosystem, especially between the in-house legal teams and the law firms that help enable them.”

There’s a lot more ground that this panel covered, so learn more of their insights about workflow automation software by watching the entire lively session at Webinar auf Abruf: Process Automation Made Perfect.
