Mitratech Receives EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Certification

Certification highlights Mitratech’s global commitment to data privacy and protection.

AUSTIN, TEXAS, December 11, 2017  – Mitratech, the leading provider of legal, compliance, and operational risk software solutions, announced today that that it has received certification approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce for the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework program, which succeeds its U.S.-EU and U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework Certification.

The U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission co-developed the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework to provide companies on both sides of the Atlantic with a mechanism to comply with data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the European Union to the United States in support of transatlantic commerce.
