Some of the company compliance concerns intensified by 2020?

Maintaining business continuity:  Organizations have been faced, first and foremost, with the need to sustain operations in the face of uncertainty and rapid change, much of it unexpected.  Being able to sustain those operations is becoming a key regulatory requirement in many industries, like healthcare and financial services.

Regulatory pressures: They’re not going to abate, as regulators demand resilience, data privacy and information security compliance, bribery and corruption compliance, labor law compliance, mitigation of employee risk, and much, much more.

The need for more internal collaboration on legal and compliance issues: More organizations are realizing the need to break down silos and build bridges between the legal department and risk management teams, and even beyond.

Hybrid workforces and workplace environments: New definitions of “workplace” are becoming the norm.  Businesses were forced to experiment with new employee environments and tools for engagement, and they and politicians and regulators alike are working through the issues involved.   That includes figuring out what the best technologies are to support these flexible new workforce configurations.

Interact EMEA 2021 will be a virtual event, in keeping with ongoing concerns about health and safety.  And it’s all free, just as with our other recent virtual conference events.

We’ve been fortunate to have the best client/user community in the legal operations and risk management software sectors, bar none.  That energy, spirit, and inventiveness will be on display at this year’s Interact EMEA, so we can’t wait to watch it all unfold.
