Every year on March 25, it offers the opportunity to honor and remember those who suffered and died at the hands of the brutal slavery system. The day also aims to raise awareness about the dangers of racism and prejudice today.

For those in Circa’s Milwaukee office, we have some great local resources available to us to learn more and take part in community programming. One thing to look forward to is the opening of the new museum building for America’s Black Holocaust Museum. The grand re-opening due to the pandemic looks like it will be February 25, 2022. The museum’s new physical facility will debut multiple new exhibits in galleries encompassing over 400 years of history. The renovated museum is also part of a redevelopment plan to spur economic growth and cultural vitality to Milwaukee’s revitalizing Bronzeville neighborhood.
