Aragon Research Calls TAP Workflow Automation “Visionary”
For the third year running, Aragon Research recognized TAP Workflow Automation as a visionary in Digital Transaction Management (DTM), making it the only company serving Legal Ops to be selected for this recognition.
What’s “visionary” recognition mean?
Not to toot our own horn too much, but being a “visionary” for three years also means:
- We’ve been a visionary since Richard Simmons was last seen in public.
- We’ve been a visionary for as long as it takes the average toddler to learn how to dress themselves.
- TAP Workflow Automation has been a visionary product nearly half its lifespan, since it was founded not too long ago.
Which means we’ve been a visionary since TAP was at an age when most other companies in the legal automation space wouldn’t even be able to tie their own DTM shoes yet.
While it looks like we’re really starting to grow up, don’t worry, we’re still keeping it fresh – our vision that is. And we can’t wait to see what the next three years holds in store.
What Aragon Research has to say
First and foremost? We’re excited to keep partnering with clients to drive digital transformation in their enterprises through DTM.
What exactly is Digital Transaction Management? It’s a digital business model that both large and small enterprises are continuing to adopt. Why?
“That’s because a fully digital business process is what customers want; it’s all about ease of use,” Aragon Research writes.
After all, it’s much easier to securely sign a contract online than to print it out, sign and scan it. However, while DTM seems like an obvious answer to efficiency and security challenges, many enterprises are still undergoing the challenging process of discovering solutions, according to Aragon Research.
That’s where their report comes in.
The Aragon Research Globe for Digital Transaction Management 2018: Automate the Enterprise highlights 16 major DTM providers that use “cloud-based software and services to digitally manage a wide range of document-centric business processes involving people, documents, data and transactions both inside and outside the firewall to help enterprises become fully automated.”
ThinkSmart, with its powerful workflow automation capabilities, was identified as a visionary among the top 16.

- A number of powerful new features and modules
- Advanced document generation and collaboration capabilities
